As parents in London, we found ourselves constantly asking friends, searching through endless Google results, and scrolling social media trying to find good activities and venues for our kids.
We wanted a simple, trusted place to discover family-friendly spots without the noise. Somewhere that felt like getting a recommendation from a friend who really knows London.
That's why we created mummy.london — a carefully curated directory where every listing is reviewed before it's published. No pay-for-placement, no sponsored rankings disguised as recommendations. Just honest, helpful picks for London families.
Meet the team
The people behind mummy.london
Alex
Alex lives in East London with her husband Andrew and son Leo. A graphic designer and part-time photographer, she loves exploring everything London has to offer with her family. She co-founded mummy.london after getting overwhelmed checking multiple different sites trying to find the best things to do — and decided there had to be a better way.
Ben
Ben is a father to two boys and a girl, and is looking forward to taking his kids to see his beloved Tottenham Hotspur — when they can sit still long enough! He runs daddy.london as well as myboxoffice.biz and mylifejourney.co.uk, and was keen to team up with Alex to create a one-stop-shop directory for London families.
