💬 About this event
ORTE Inspire is a five-day immersive music and arts programme for young people aged 6–19, taking place in London during the October half-term, 24–28 October 2026.
Designed for the age of AI, ORTE Inspire gives children and teenagers opportunities to think independently, ask questions, learn through real-world experiences, meet leading artists and professionals, and share ideas with other young people from different cultural backgrounds.
Rather than focusing only on musical performance, the programme connects music with culture, history, people, society, nature, science, professional worlds and careers.
Participants experience London’s cultural and professional environment through direct engagement with artists, musicians, practitioners and leading institutions, including experiences connected with the Royal Academy of Music, Royal Opera House and Steinway Piano London.
ORTE is an Arts Award accredited centre. Participants aged 6–11 can work towards and achieve Arts Award Explore, while participants aged 12–19 can work towards and achieve Arts Award Bronze as part of the five-day programme.
NEW for October 2026: Music Aptitude Test (MAT) and 11+ preparation sessions are also available for children preparing for selective school admissions.
Participants who complete ORTE Inspire become ORTE Ambassadors, with opportunities to participate in ORTE’s planned international programmes in Japan and Hungary from spring 2027.
